Meet Our Passion

Dr. Dawn Thomas graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree, earned her Master of Education degree majoring in Mathematics from Georgia State University and completed her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Mercer University. The focus of her dissertation was to identify factors which contribute to high degree completion rates among African American and Latino STEM majors. Dr. Thomas has taught everything called math for over 30 years at the middle school, high school and college levels.  One of her deepest passions is to ensure that every student she encounters have a solid footing in mathematics. She is the CEO, owner and visionary of College Prep Done Right!, a division of the Thomas Educational Publishing Group. Our mission is to instruct students in a manner that challenges, motivates and prepares them to apply math skills successfully and confidently in the real world.

We have a phenomenal team who have a deep desire and hunger to equip students with the knowledge to conquer their math fears, apprehensions and anxieties. We possess almost 150 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience. In addition to helping your child understand math, our biggest goal is to build back their confidence.  We have a strong history of doing this!
