Founder & CEO
Dr. Dawn Thomas
Dr. Thomas began her teaching career over 30 years ago with middle and high school
mathematics. Over the span of her career, she has spent 16 years as a college professor
teaching both mathematics and engineering courses. In addition, she has taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I and II, Differential Equations, Elementary Statistics as well as Statistics for Engineers. She received her Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech, Master of Education degree majoring in Mathematics from Georgia State University and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Mercer University.
An endorsed College Board consultant for over 20 years, SAT question writer and presenter, as well as a national Pre-AP and AP math presenter. Dr. Thomas has traveled throughout the country training teachers on how to incorporate Pre-AP and Ap math courses as well as the SAT into various curriculums in order to develop ways to improve both mathematical skills and SAT scores for struggling students. She and her
husband of 35 years resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia. They have three wonderful adult children and a dog.

Tutor
Mark McFerren
After 35 years in education, Mr. Mark A. McFerren retired from Riverside Unified School District where he served as a high school math teacher, math department chairperson, and Equity and Access Coach. Mr. McFerren has a Bachelor's degree from California Baptist University and a Master's degree from Azusa Pacific University. Mark also has an AP® Certification from the University of California, Riverside.

Mr. McFerren has taught all levels of math from Algebra I, Math I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP® Calculus AB and AP® Calculus BC at various high schools, e.g., Ramona High School in Riverside, CA; Rubidoux High School, Riverside, CA; and Jurupa Valley High School, Mira Loma, CA. Mark also served as a curriculum specialist at San Bernardino City Schools District, San Bernardino, CA.

Tutor
Aja Thomas
Aja is a 2nd year student currently on the Pre-Law track at the University of Pittsburgh. She is majoring in Philosophy and Political Science with an Economics certification and minor in African Studies. She is a published author, co-write 3 books. Although the youngest tutor on staff, she has 6 years of tutoring experience and a long list of satisfied clients, both parents and students. She currently tutors rising 6th - 9th graders, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus and Calculus.

Tutor
Tabitha Bass
Tabitha comes to us from a small town in Ohio called Lima. Upon graduating high school, she attended Spelman College. She obtained a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and two years later her teaching certification. Tabitha went on to obtain both her Master's and Specialist's degrees from Mercer University. She is beginning her 19th year of teaching. The first 10 years of teaching was on the middle school level and the last 8 were on the high school level. The majority of her teaching career has been at Title I schools on the outskirts of Atlanta. She has taught and/or tutored grades 6-8, Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II. She is married with 3 beautiful children ranging from 8 – 18 years of age.

Paul Thomas, II
Paul Thomas is a recent graduate from Georgia Southern University where he majored in Computer Science. His passion is to utilize his coding skills to assist in alleviating some of today's challenging problems. Paul's main task at TEPG is to keep our online world moving. In addition to this, he is a phenomenal tutor. He joined our staff in 2014 and has tutored every math class offered in both middle and high school as well as Latin, Physics and AP World History.
